Sarah Hutton

The relationship we have with ourselves and others is at the core of our every day. I hold a safe & empathetic space enabling us to explore and navigate those relationships together, where we can get to the root of challenges you may be facing & difficult feelings can be accepted. This is a journey we will walk together at your own pace, where change, although often uncomfortable, can be embraced.

I am experienced in working with clients with a range of needs, including those navigating anxiety, depression & grief; self-esteem & attachment issues; neurodiversity; identity & relationship difficulties; as well as trauma & PTSD.

Psychodynamic psychotherapy provides the opportunity to not only express yourself and be heard, but to reflect and transform. It can help process trauma, mental health difficulties or life challenges; access and navigate your unconscious attachments, behaviours and motivations; and shed light on patterns which may no longer serve you. In those moments where words are difficult to find or may not feel like enough, I provide the option of other forms of communication such as using or selecting images to aid expression and discovery.

I am available in-person or online. I offer a free 20mins initial phone consultation so I can hear your needs and goals and we can both get a sense of whether I am the right therapist for you. Please email to arrange this - I look forward to hearing from you.
